If you've been arrested and charged with a crime, you've already confronted the shock of accusation and the startling, dehumanizing effects of losing all control of your life as you're turned around, cuffed, and forced to go places you just don't want to go, ever.

I can't help but wonder how could you be worried meeting with a defense lawyer could be any worse? But hey, I get it- you don't want to go to my office, either. It's just another place you're forced to go.

With that in mind, I made this little video to assure you I'm here to start making your life easier and better, and give you protection when you feel exposed. It starts with our very first meeting. So check out the video to see what it's like.

I promise you've done the hard part. You won't be frisked, and when you hire us, I won't holler at the receptionist, "Book 'em!"

So here's a question everyone has the first time they come to see me, to defend them, “what's our first meeting gonna be like’? Well the first thing you need to know is, there's no obligation to hire me and I'm not gonna give you the hard sell, I'm here to make things as easy as I can on you and help you as much as possible.

So here's basically how it goes. You’re gonna come to our office where our receptionist will greet you with a warm smile and a free drink. You give her your arrest paperwork and she'll give you some paperwork for you to fill out. While you're filling it out I'll read over your arrest paperwork so I can tell exactly what it is you need help with. Once you're done with our paperwork, I will actually read it because your information is important to me and it gives me an idea who you are. Then we sit down and have our meeting.

The first thing I'm gonna do is answer your questions because your case is about you. Then we'll get into the details of your case a little bit, then we will start strategizing the best way to defend you. After that we'll have an honest discussion about the fee it's gonna cost from my firm to defend and protect you. At the end of all this one of three things is gonna happen. You're gonna hire me or maybe one of us needs to think a little bit more about it or get some more information and if that's the case I'm happy to keep giving you free advice until we make our decision. Or we'll part as friends and I'll just be glad that I got a moment to sit with you and your time and need and hopefully help you out a little bit. It doesn't take long, all you've got to lose is a little bit of time and you might just gain an experienced lawyer to guide you and protect you in a time when you feel the whole world is against you. I thank you for thinking about this with me and I hope I see you soon.
